Went out last night for a evening trip. Only had a few hours to fish, but just had to get out! Wanted to get out and work on mechanics and techinque after a long time on the lakes I need to get my short cast back on! Fishied in the eastern delta caught 15 fish total for 2 of us. Most fish were around a pound and were happy to eat our frogs. My partner caught one around 4 lbs and was our only better sized bite! The tide was very slow and had little movement and it cooled off 20 deg in 3 hours from 91 to 71 deg. Satble warmer nights will make the frog bite get better! All in all we had fun and caught some fish while working on my mechanics. Fish seemed to be on rocks and sparse tules today.
