Camanche is fishing real small right now, although when you find fish the bite is hot. Now that we are coming from fall to early winter the fish are starting to school and hanging in from 5-25ft, moving up and down the shallow flats following the shad through out the day. Pinch points with the wind blowing threw it is where I found the most success. The baits that got the most bites for me were rattletrap in shad color and a dropshot in morning dawn and some swim bait fish and followers. Josh Parris had success on a IMA jerkbait, a persuader brown jig and a blade runner under spin trailered with a Keitech swimbait. Locations were south shore islands and flats. You wanna look chunkier sand stone and some fish are being caught on swimbaits. I caught one an a 8 inch Savage gear in light trout number 12. Using the swimbait is how I located my schools of fish by seeing followers and bumpers then I backed it up with the rattle trap and dropshot slowly dragging the dropshot was key to getting more strikes.
