Lake Oroville Fishing Reports
Fishing at Lake Oroville is pretty good right now overall. Good numbers of Bass can be caught each day. The fish are really changing along with the weather so be ready to change up each day. The lake is falling over a foot a day and this effects the fish as well. Poppers next to chunky buolders is getting some good bites right now , but you have to work to find them. If it warms up look for big boulders and toss a senko for some good action. Drop shots and jigs are doing well when the weather changes. Fish from 10-65 feet. Drop shots in Zipper worms in Screamin Pink 4″ pudgy worms is working well along with 3.5″ Drop Shot sand worm color. Try Zipper worms Spider grub on a 3/8 oz Berserk Baits jig head right now and hang on! They are killing the jig. You will get plenty of action , but bigger fish are hard to find expect 7-9lbs for your best five untill the reaction bite kicks into gear! Good Luck!
