This past weekend Stockton Bass had another amazing tournament with 32 boats. Despite the weather changing from mid 60s and rain to mid 80s and blue bird sky days the anglers managed to catch some nice fish. Just out of the money was Scott Adkins and Tim Wolkamp with 23.7, Sixth place was Phil Burgess and Ben Loodermill with 24.3 with an 8.5 big fish. Just in the Top 5 with 24.15 anchored by an 8.15 big fish was the team of Jiri and Tracey Sakata followed by Larry Vignolo and Mike Bryant in fourth place with a solid bag of 25.1. Second and third place was separated by each other’s big fish one had a 6 pound and the other had a 7.5 big fish. The team of Claudio Silva and Carlos Velazquez took third and had 25.3 with a 6. The father and son team of Hunter and Chris Schlander weighed in 25.3 with a 7.5 big fish and took second. The team of Randy Lopez and TJ Alves won with 27.7 with a 9.12 big fish. The Top Five teams said they all caught their fish flipping sparse tules in the morning and started to catch punch fish later on in the afternoon.
