Arizona Suguaro lake
While traveling to lake Conroe Texas myself and Okuma pro Mark Lassange we saw an opportunity to fish some lakes on the way so we picked lake Suguaro. As we pulled into the launch ramp the locals were quick to let us know the bite was tough we got a late start . With only 4 hours or so to fish on a lake that we have no knowledge we knew it was gonna be a challenge. Going 2 hours or so with no action I tied up the drop shot switching around colors. Finally I had our first fish and my first Arizona bass.
With us running out of time we found another bank that looked similar and we picked up two more fish, it seemed to me that the fish wanted to be on the bigger round rock, there was only a few banks with that type cover and the Aaron’s magic color was key. Lake suguaro is one of the most beautiful desert lakes I’ve ever had the pleasure to fish .
