2-16-14 Clear Lake Fishing Report.
Water temperature ranged from fifty degrees early to a high of fifty-three in the evening. Myself and Bob Pietruszka concentrated our efforts from Shag rock to Rodman Slough today. The water was very clear up North and had a slight stain mid lake.We covered alot of water today running from point to point and fishing deep water transitions. The Blade Runner spin head jig rigged with a AA swimbait was our best bite today followed by the six inch Ospery swimbait. The A-rig was also tossed quite a bit today but offered us up no bites. However from looking at Facebook I see some anglers did have some luck with the A-rig .We also tried Drop-shoting and spooning fish that showed themselves on the Lowrance fish finder. For the most part I would have to rank today as a tough bite.Good Luck on your next trip and I hope you catch the Big one.
