Clear Lake Fishing report
Clear Lake Report 6/13/10
By Dan Wells
Fishing is overall tough or at least by Clear Lake standards it is. The most consistent action seems be in the north end of the lake and many fish still seem to be in transition from one point in the spawn to another. Water temp is 68-71 degrees depending on where you are fishing and water clarity is 4-6’. There is a morning topwater bite starting with poppers and frogs, after the sun comes up the fish move to docks and weeds while some are cursing open water. Senkos, flukes, 6” zipper hand pours in oxblood will catch fish in these areas! The fish are in a very spooky mood, I recommend using the lightest line you are comfortable with and making long casts to your target! Good luck!
