Delta Report for 2/22/14
I hit the Delta just after the Anglers Choice event blasted off from Russo’s Marina. We fished reaction baits early trying to locate groups of fish. We moved around covering water to no avail. There was a front passing through and the wind was on the chilly side. We ended up catching some fish on weightless worms fished slowly. It was a tough day for us, but before it was over we ended up with 17lbs for our best 5 fish. All fish were caught on senko’s(watermelon) and jigs in black and red. The water is high 50’s and will hit 60 anytime now. Fish are on the move and fishing is improving. Get out there and have some fun.
