Delta Fishing Report

May 7, 2014 by Ron Howe

Delta Map

Water Temps 68-74 deg

Water clear to stained.

The Delta can be finicky right now, but when you find the Bass they will be big bites! Fish are in all 3 stages of the Spawn right now with most of the fish in Post Spawn and a few in Pre Spawn. The bigger fish seemed to have finished Spawning and are in Post Spawn to Summer mode. There is a new group of fish in the 4-5 lb range moving into to spawn and they are Fat healthy fish. Topwater,Fliping and Senkos are alll catching fish right now. Expect top water to get better as the weather warms and the wind settles next week. Good Luck
