California Delta fishing report by Kevin Cornwell
Fished the California Delta on saturday March 24th, the California Delta is kicking out good numbers of fish right now a long with a lot of 5-10 pound fish as seen in recent tournaments! The past couple of times i have been to the Delta i have found that bright colored spinnerbaits, and square bill crankbaits in red and browns on levee walls is catching fish, a long with flipping Berkley havoc’s pit boss, and chigger craw in shallow cover, tule berm’s, and isolated tule patches on levee walls for fish up to 5 pounds for me! The water temp is anywhere from 57-59 degrees in the central delta right now. It is a great time to catch big bass and quality limits on the California Delta it is very liable to happen, good luck your next time out!
