Dobyns Rods Announces new Fury Series
Those who attended the Bassmaster Classic a couple of weeks ago were fortunate to not only witness bass fishing’s biggest event, but also to get a firsthand look and feel of the new Dobyns Fury Series. At the Outdoor Expo, word of the new Fury Series spread quickly and immediately created a buzz among social media outlets and online fishing forums.
Planned for release in May 2015, the new series boasts a very attractive $109 price point and will be backed by Dobyns’ lifetime warranty against defects. The backbone of the Fury Series is a high modulus graphite blank, making it exceptionally sensitive, strong, and balanced. The natural, unsanded blank is highlighted with green accents, a cork grip, and hypalon butt which adds to the aesthetics of the rod. The catchy appearance and overall performance of this series certainly raises the bar for other rods within its price range.
Dealers are currently taking pre-orders for the new Fury Series which is certain to be a hit among budget-conscious bass anglers. The series will be a great option for high school and collegiate anglers looking to fish competitively while keeping costs to a minimum. The Fury Series is slated to launch with the following models, with a swimbait option soon to follow: 702SF, 703SF, 705CB, 765Flip, 663C, 703C, 704C, 733C, 734C, and 735C.
