Folsom Lake Fishing Report 4-7-21 by Bob Tyler
For the second week in a row the bite has been very slow for me. I don’t know what the fish are waiting for,I found sixty degree water temp’s and clarity down to as much as eight feet in some places. Everything is in place for the bass to begin their spawn in my opioun. I spent a good eight hour’s searching flat’s today in the Main lake, North and South fork with fishing partner Jeff Wright and his son Logan. We drug Texas rigged worms, football head jig’s and the shaky head all rigged with greens and browns. Where there was flooded brush and tree’s we offered up senko’s in bluegill and shad pattern’s. Our total catch of the day was four fish for a total weight of about eight pound’s, I’m sure the up coming storm’s are going to keep the fish in this funny mood,So all we can do is keep trying, the bass eventually have to eat and spawn to survive, and when they do it should be over the top. So get up and go fish, also leave us a commit on our page, we appreciate the input and help as well. Good Luck and Tight Lines.
