Gary Dobyns Seminar may 26th

May 23, 2011 by Ron Howe

As the Yamamoto Big Bass Challenge quickly approaches (June 4th and 5th), it is for sure that many anglers are anxiously preparing strategies for how to get their hands on one of the thirty cash awards that will be handed out each day – for two days, at what will certainly be one of the most fun and exciting events ever to be held on the California delta.

And now, getting ready for the Yamamoto Big Bass Challenge just got better, as Gary Dobyns the west’s all time money winner will make a special trip to the Fishermen’s Warehouse in Sacramento, Thursday, MAY 26th, to conduct an informative seminar designed to help you catch Big Bass on the delta in the late spring using any of the great Yamamoto baits.

“I can’t tell you the amount of money I have won over the years using these quality baits in just about every situation and condition imaginable”, noted the 2009 U.S. Open champion. The bite on the delta in early June should be wide open, and the opportunity to catch a big bass and win some nice cash prizes – for a low entry fee, using Yamamoto baits has never been better.”

That Gary’s promotional schedule is light-years beyond hectic, and takes him to more places across the country than you can imagine, this seminar provides a fantastic opportunity for you to receive some up close and personal instruction from a legendary angler that can help you find success (and maybe win some cash) in the Yamamoto Big Bass Challenge event.

What you can expect to learn by attending this seminar:

·         How to rig a Senko for MAXIMIUM effectiveness

·         Yamamoto’s single tail, split tail, and Hula grubs – where, which, and when to use

·         Line choices for Yamamoto baits:  Mono, Fluorocarbon, or Braid – Does it really matter?

·         Rod choices:  The importance of quality components and proper balance

·         Hooks:  The right hook for the right bait

·         Color:  Important or obsession?

·         Tournament strategies: Creating a plan that works for you and staying focused

Everyone, this will be a really fun and informative seminar, and to celebrate the upcoming Yamamoto Big Bass event, we will raffle off a specially autographed Dobyns Senko Rod designed specifically for use with Yamamoto Senko baits!

In addition, FREE food and refreshments will be served, and  there will be a FREE raffle for Yamamoto product, tons of in-store specials for Yamamoto baits, PLUS someone in attendance will win a free entry into the June 4-5th Yamamoto Big Bass Challenge event!

There will also be a raffle for a youth’s rod/reel combo – with special Yamamoto tackle pack, for kids 12 years and under in attendance.

This seminar is from 6-8pm, and will for sure be crowded, so get to the Fishermen’s Warehouse early so that you can secure a good front row seat, and meet one of the best and certainly most accomplished anglers in the west.

See you all there!
