Water clear some mud lines in select areas.
The lake is full and this makes this a huge lake! Awsome!
Fishing was very good on Friday with the front beginning to pass by.
Spinner baits,Monster Alabama rigs rigged with Optimum baits new Opti Shad,Senko’s and drop shots were all catching fish. Coves and guts off the main lake were all holding fish, willow trees or grassy coves were your best bet. for Large Mouth concentrate on 8-12 foot,for spots concentrate on 20-25 foot Many Large mouth bass are easy to catch right now,but you will need to cover water to find bigger ones. The lake is very healthy this year and holds a bright future. We caught fish up to 6lbs on Friday, Saturday proved to be tougher as the high sunny skies changed the bite,but fishing was still very good overall. Once the lake stabilizes look for bedding fish and post spawn Spotted bass.
