I would like to thank all of the teams that came out to support NorCal90 this past weekend. We had a great time after sort of a bumpy start to the morning. The weather once again was beautiful and the teams took off just after daybreak and the first group came in at 3:00pm to weigh their best 5 fish. In the end it was the team from Shasta that prevailed with just over 12lbs. Coming in a close second was the NorCal90 staff boat of Ron Gandolfi/Vic Petkus with 11.90 and third was Jake McClellan/Regina Storey with 11.35lbs with Regina becoming the first Female to win BigFish honors in a NorCal90 Event with a beautiful 3.28lb Spotted Bass, Congratulatios Regina, great job. Fourth place went to the team of Brad Taggart/Dave Rush, fifth place was the team of Tony Rainey/Kevin Davis and rounding out the top six was the team of Justin Evans/James Avalos.
Allison did a great job fixing nachos for everyone this month and I think they were a hit since everything was gone except for a few spoons of cheese, thank you Allison for all of your hard work. I would like to also thank Chuck Patterson Toyota/Scion/Dodge of Chico for the continued support of our trail with the Live Release boat and Dobyns’ Rods and Reds’ Baits for being with us from the beginning. We hope you all had a great New Year and hope to see a lot more people March 1st for our next event.
