Stockton Bass had a whopping 35 boats for their first event. This last weekends windy weather did not stop the anglers from coming out and catching some nice bags of fish.  Stockton Bass paid back seven places, beginning with the 2011 Snag Proof Amateur side winners. Doug Arlin and Rich Fonbuena came in with a solid 18. 11 with a seven pound kicker, followed by Randy Lee and Roger Adams with 18.13. The top five starts off with the father and son team of Hosie Looper and Kevin Looper with 19 pounds even, anchored with a 9.2 big fish caught on a swimbait. The team of Dan Castelhano and Rick Yokom took fourth with a solid bag of 19.3 with a 6.6 big fish, third place was Gary Hall and Damon Wright with an 8.14 Big Fish and total of 20.6 pounds, second place with the team of Johnny Mathews and Robert Ryans cranked a 9.7 big fish with a total of 21.2. The Pro Staff team of Esa Jigs Scott Adkins and Tim Wolkamp came in with big bag of 22.5 anchored by a 9.11 big fish, caught on an ESA Jig. Angler reported to catch most of their fish on reaction baits around the central delta.  Anglers were greeted at weigh-ins by Stockton Bass’s newest family member 51 fifty energy drinks. 51 Fifty is Stockton Bass’s trophy sponsor this year.
