My name is Brandon Hernandez, I am 33 years old. I am a husband and father to two young boys. If I’m not working, hanging out with the family or coaching my kids sports teams then I’m usually out fishing the motherlode lakes. I remember going fishing as a kid with my grandpa where we would just troll for trout in the higher sierra lakes and motherlode lakes. I’ve been bass fishing for about 5 years now. I started out fishing small bass ponds around the county. In Late 2017 I bought a kayak to explore more waters in the motherlode area lakes. In 2018 I started fishing kayak bass tournaments where you utilize the CPR (catch, photo and release) method rather than keeping your fish in the livewell. I fish the local kayak circuits in northern California such as Yak-A-Bass, Wild West Bass Trails Kayak series, and Ca Bass Nation Kayak Series. My buddy Shaun Leytem who is a member of RBBASS told me about the all the reports that they put out by all of the anglers. I joined Shaun at their annual meeting a few years back to see what the group was about. I liked how so many anglers could come together and share the passion for the sport and the camaraderie between them. I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to join the team with such a great group of anglers who all enjoy the same fishing addiction as myself. I hope to learn a bunch from everybody on the team and do my part by contributing to the fishing community. Thanks for the opportunity to be part of RBBASS.
