River 2 Sea hosts its second open Team Tournament event. This one draws over 100 boats strong!
Anglers from all over California showed up to take a swing with River 2 Sea products in the second River 2 Sea open. River 2 Sea had a tackle shop on wheels there for the anglers to gear up for the event! Many new products were there for anglers to buy up! And buy up the anglers did as many products were sold out !
Anglers piled into the tackle shop on wheels early on day 1.
This event had alot of media coverage as Western Bass, Stockton Examiner, Informative Fisherman, Bass Angler Magazine and Advanced Angler all were in attendance to see the event unfold. With a $5000.00 guaranteed prize to the winners many of the Delta’s best anglers were in attendance to have a chance at some Big cash. The time change didn’t effect the fish , but the weather did as clear sunny skies turned into cloudy skies with huge winds gusting on Sunday! These changing conditions made fishing tough for many anglers including some of the delta’s best! Ken Mah and Jason Austin figured out a winning 2 day pattern and made adjustments each day to win the event and the $5000.00 top prize. The Rosetti father and son team did well and finished in second and took home $2800.00 for their efforts.
River 2 Sea Big fish honors go to Big Bob Tyler of RB Bass

Bob Tyler stated that his Dobyns Rod played a big key in landing this big fish on finesse gear. This big bass helped Ron Howe and Bob Tyler make the top 10 in this 100 plus boat field taking 9th place, the teams second top ten finish in 100 plus boat fields on the delta this year.
