Hey guys Jim Vretzos here….my good buddy and fellow bass angler Chris Brizendine hit up Folsom Lake this past Sunday. We launched at high noon and fished till about 430-5p. Weather was an off and on overcast with hardly any wind. Good to see the lake water level up a bit from these rains!! The fishing for us was pretty good as we caught about 12-15 decent fish. Spotted Bass got em, smallmouth bass got em!
Chris landed a Largemouth…our only one for the day. All our fish came on a series of baits….jigs, Keitech easy Shiner and hula grubs. No takers on the swimbaits. All fish were caught in the 18-30 foot range.
Overall we had a good and fun day! Looking forward to heading out there again next week in search for the bigger fish!
