Lake Amador Report Mar 21 2010
Water clarity 3’ – 6’ Temp 60-63 degrees. The bite for quality fish is still a little slow but the smaller males have moved up to the bank in preparation to spawn. With the warming trend and full moon phase coming the big females should be on the way to the bank within the next 2 weeks and I predict a very good bite his year! The lake level is in good shape, only 15’ from full pool. The most consistent bite was a 6” zipper hand pour worm in the sculpin color rigged texas style with a 1/8oz bullet weight. We caught fish from 2’-10’ feet deep with the best action in Carson arm and mountain springs.
