The last 2 weeks on the Delta have been great fishing with some solid fish being kicked out.
I had been practicing for the Future Pro Tour event that was held at Ladd’s Marina in Stockton, CA which I had took 7th place in while weighing my two smallest bags for the whole two weeks!
My biggest bag of the two weeks was around the 23- 24 pound mark with the smallest bag weighing 14.70. All of my fish were caught on a white spinner bait and punching a sweet beaver 4.20 size. The key to finding productive areas was TIMING, TIMING, TIMING.
The fish that were biting aggressively were all fish that I had caught on low tide with current and deeper water near by. The fish are in a summer transition and it can make it a bit difficult to find productive areas but my Nitro from GONE FISHIN’ MARINE powered me around chasing the tides all over the delta to get to productive areas.
The main channel of the delta is a great place to start fishing since it will have the most oxygenated water and you might get lucky and catch a few stripers while your out. All equipment on my boat was outfitted by GF Marine and all tackle can be found at monster fishing tackle for the best customer service and speedy delivery.
If you need any servicing or upgrades for your boat call and mention that Arlando Abella referred you for top of the line service.
