The 2011 “14th CO Pro Teen classic” started off with a bang as the fireworks boomed to get the event under way! With parents, freinds,family and media all watching as the Pro’s and Teens paired up for a day of California Delta Bass Fishing ! 62 boaters showed up and over 62 teens got out on the water. Andy Cuccia of Western Bass did a great job running this event yet again! Every thing went smoothly from start to finish!
This event is special and is truly about a fun day out on the water with a young angler. For many kids this was there first ever Bass Tournament style event. You could see the excitement in each kids face as they wanted to see who they would draw at check in.
The fishing was good as many small fish provided a ton of action for the teens. Bigger bass were hard to come by on this day,but all in all fishing was fun for all.
The Future Pro Tour had there Tour trailer on hand to help with the event. A killer BBQ was provided for all after the tournament was over and then the raffle started. Many sponsors chipped in for this event and made for a big raffle and special youth Angler prizes.
