Went fishing Wednesday – Sunday, 10/10/12 – 10/14/12. There was a good swimbait bite Wednesday and Thursday, however the bite started to change quickly Friday – Sunday as the fish were feeling the pressure of the big tournament. There was still a swimbait bite, but they were not as aggressive as they were during the beginning of the week as the bites were more sporadic. LV500’s, jigs, senkos, trashfish, Huddy’s, umbrella, senkos, dropshots all were reported to work this week. Look at the forage in the area you are fishing and match the bait colors and you will catch them. I also heard there was a topwater bait in the afternoon, so don’t rule it out! Good luck.
