California Tournament Trail wrap up lake Oroville
What a great event. This tournament was a blast, and a reminder that these type of events are by far my favorite. Pro/Am draws mean you fish with a different partner each day. This means making new friends and learning from other fisherman. Hanging out with friends and making new ones. Something about these multi day events just speaks to me. Bill Cook and the entire CTT staff do a great job even with the trying conditions. 2 lane ramp, 85 boats, and a parking lot that only holds 60 rigs. Throw in a thick fog and things really get interesting. I will say it was a very relaxed setting and every body made the best of it.
If you want to learn, or if you are ready for the front of the boat, the CTT events are a great place for those of us in California. Very reasonable fee’s and priceless experiences make it a great value as well. The next event is at Lake Berryessa and should be a slug fest of big fish and huge bags. Come on out and experience what these events are all about. I for one cant wait for February 28th to get here. You may need to stock up on some gear prior to the event and MonsterFishingTackle.com can handle all your needs and have it on your door step, often by the next day.
I look forward to meeting some of you at Berryessa.
