I have been fishing since my dad showed me how when I was 6 years old. I started walking the American river with him as he showed me the ins and outs of catching Rainbow Trout. Shortly after, my dad dropped me off at the Sly Park Dam and I caught my first aggressive Smallmouth Bass. This began the fire for Bass fishing for me. When I was young, I was always very entertained by the fact that I could cast into a body of water, wait for a strike, battle and reel in my reward for my patience. From this point, I tried to get on the water as much as possible and I began tournament fishing when I was 16. For years I continued to build my confidence and pursue my dreams of making it to the Elite Series. Now I am 31 and starting to fish in larger tournaments and enjoy showing others the ropes. I have a lot to learn in this game and I have a lot I can teach. In order to pay for my adventures I began a one man Business in Car Audio back in 2011. I specialize in Car audio, Boats and 12v Accessories. This keeps me busy through the week and keeps me fishing every weekend. Other than tournament fishing, I have started donating some time at Cast for Kids Events in my area and that can sure warm your heart. My favorite techniques are many, but if I had to choose an absolute favorite it would be Punching thick mats. Thank you for reading, I will see you on the water!
