Clearlake Fishing Report for March 15th and 16th. The weather was fantastic, clear skies and not a ripple in the water, majority of the lake was clear. You could see up to six to eight feet. The creeks were still a little stained, you could only see down two to four feet in some areas. The water temperature was sixty to sixty-two. A lot of bucks were up shallow. We caught most of our fish in four to seven feet. We were catching them on glide baits and swim baits, like the new seven in a half inch Trash Fish; and the original all American Trash Fish. We also got some on a Rat-L-Trap as well. We had about 26 to 27lbs. on Saturday. With our big fish being a little over 8. On Saturday it was a little more tougher with a full moon we put the first fish in the boat around 8:45. After 8:45 the bite started to pick up a little. So we decided to move to another spot around the corner and picked up a few more fish. At 11:30 it really picked up, and we put ten to eleven fish in the boat in about 15 minutes. At the end of the day I lost count of how many fish we boated. it was a super fun day but nothing over six lbs. I had a blast fishing with Jackson Juarez and Heather Kellermann, can’t wait to get back out there next weekend.
