Clearlake Fishing report March 29th
Water temp was about 57, and I feel like most of the fish have backed off the beds. We caught most of our fish on a drop shot, and a few on a trap, water clarity was clear but it wont be that way for long. The creeks in the north end are flowing out mud. So it should stay in the water and hopefully make the bite better, Because the last few weeks hasnt been the greatest, People are still catching fish but not the quality that Clearlake is known for, there is a small hand full of 5 to 8 pounders caught but most of the fish are 2 to 4 pounds.
