Spent the day with an old friend of mine, Dave Bettis. He is the man that introduced me to bass fishing tournaments about twelve years ago. We started off the morning fishing the north end of the lake and were throwing Rat-L-Traps and Trash fish. We were ripping the traps through grass and creeping the swim baits through it as well. All of the fish we caught were fat and healthy. They were in shallow water between about 3-7 ft. and the water was stained. We launched out of Library Park and had no problems with the low water. If you get a chance to get uo to Clear Lake the bite is on!
