Fishing the Delta was a little tough this trip, however I did have 18 lbs. for my best five fish. I caught most of my fish in slightly stained water, if I was in clear water I had to make long casts. The majority of my fish were caught punching but I did catch a few on a frog and a Wopper Plopper. The Wopper Plopper bite was only good first thing in the morning on the outgoing tide. The fish were slapping at the bait and not always taking it. The few fish I caught on a frog were choking it. All in all it was a pretty good day on the Delta.
