With warm weather and big fish on the move I decided to hit the delta. The fish weren’t really cooperating the way I had hoped but I managed to put some nice ones in the boat. It took most of the day to catch a little over 20lbs for my best five. Their wasn’t one bait they liked more then the other I caught fish on just about everything blades, chatter baits, flippin, Senkos, crankbaits, and drop shoting. The water temp first thing in the morning was 55.3 degrees, and at the end of the day I found 61.2 with water clarity in some areas up to 5 feet. I was surprised to find a few bed fish also, they weren’t big but the big girls aren’t too far away. Keep your eyes open it won’t be to long before fish will be in full spawn mode. Have fun and rip some lips the next time your out on the delta.
