Folsom Lake Bass Fishing Report – Late May/Early June
This report cover Memorial Day weekend and the following weekend. I fished three days during that time period from sunrise to noon. Getting off the lake before the wake boats and jet skis took over. Launch out of Granite Bay Stage 4 ramp. The gates have been opening between 5:45 – 6AM, so the early morning top water bite is nearly over by the time you get on the water, but I did manage a few top water fish. After that I focused on off shore rock piles outside of spawning flats. Most of the fish I caught were post spawn and they seem to be getting into their summer time pattern here. Overall, drop shotting and mid strolling accounted for most of my fish. The fishing can be really good if you find the right rock pile. 📊 Lake Conditions & Stats Water Elevation: 460 feet (Full pool is 466 ft—super healthy!)
