Fished Folsom today with my buddy Jeff. Got on the water about 9 am with water temps at 48.7 degrees. The lake was glass so started off fishing about 25-30 foot deep with plastics. Moved to a couple spots and found fish from 25 to 50 feet. Graphed huge bait balls at 75 feet of water while cruising the lake in several areas. Wacky senko’s and a jig produced fish from 1.25 to 4.84 pounds. Caught a couple 4 lb spots and a 4.84 lb smallie. Had to fish really slow and deadstick off and on. Senko was the 284-Rootbeer w/red/gold. Brown/green jigs working for couple bites over last few weeks as well. Graph bait and find some fish around. Make sure to check out Monster Fishing tackle for all of your Yamamoto and casting jig needs and give Folsom a try.
