I joined RBBASS a few years ago when the were looking for some new members. I drove all the way up to Sacramento about a 4 hour drive for the yearly meeting. Not knowing what to expect or even who the other member were.
Since joining RBBASS I have had many doors open to me to advance my skills, get product and sponsors. But more important make new friends. Like Bob Tyler, Randy Walker, Ron Howe just to name a few. Or getting to fish with Charles Cornelison. He and I have fished a few tournaments together now and I have had a great time. And then there is getting some Ima lures or Optimum swim baits.
But most of all RBBASS gets together a few times a year for a get to know the members kind of thing. This past July for the Ultimate Frog Tournament my wife and I camped with RBBASS. We brought our own BBQ and food and watched Ron Howe BBQ so much great food you couldn’t eat it all. Armando brought fresh salsa and chips. The atmosphere was so unbelievable, you don’t get that just anywhere. Sitting around a campfire talking about anything and everything, not just fishing is what makes RBBASS so special. But you know. You see the website, read the posts.
So what is RBBASS? It’s a website run by anglers for anglers. But it’s more than that, It is a group of guys and gals of all different skill levels and ages pushing to make our sport of fishing fun and exciting not just the same old thing. And like anything in life the harder you work the more reward you get, just ask anyone in RBBASS. I would like to thank Ron Howe for the chance to be apart of this. My name is Brian Orange and I am proud to be a member of RBBASS.
