RBBASS has provided lots of opportunities for me, however that’s not even close to the reason why I joined the team. As a young boy I always loved to bass fish. I grew up watching fishing legends like Kevin Vandam, Roland Martin, Denny Brauer, Jimmy Houston, Gary Klein, and Bill Dance. I idolized these professional bass fisherman, and I emulated their every move.
As I became older I learned that fishing had very little to do with being lucky, and a lot more to do with tactics/techniques. When I figured this out I began reading every bass fishing magazine I could get my hands on. The more I read the further I progressed. My progression led me to the transition of recreational angler to a competitive bass fisherman.
When social media became popular I located several outlets for fishing information. RBBASS always had excellent information. When I became serious about fishing the California Delta I needed the most up to date information I could find. I noticed that RBBASS had way more detailed information from its anglers regarding the challenges of fishing the California Delta.
Now that I’ve become an accomplished angler, fishing guide, and mentor to youth, I decided it’s time to give back. I joined RBBASS to provide information to recreational anglers, competitive bass fisherman, and everyone else in between. My fundamental goal has been achieved, because I’ve received countless emails from anglers who have used the information I’ve provided to be successful on the water.
That’s why I joined RBBASS, and that’s what RBBASS has done for me. Tight lines and I’ll see you on the water.
