Lake Camanche Fishing Report by Adrian Murar

Went out with my good buddy Nick Dulleck to lake Camanche for a day of fishing and it sure was a day to remember! Launched around 9am out of the north shore and started idling around some offshore island tops looking for some fish that should be feeding up getting ready to follow the creek channels heading back into their spawning flats. Found a few fish on an island top and started off with a jig and a drop shot. Got a few bites, but none stuck. I kept bouncing around till I found some more fish and finally found some good marks. Almost immediately as we started fishing they were chomping. They came in flurries as they were moving up and down on the island top. We stayed on it practically for the rest of the day and caught between 50-60 fish off of it. If I were to go out there tomorrow I would have a green pumpkin jig and a wobble head by Pro Point Lures with a brush hog tied on!
