Fished the BBT Saturday. Rained hard in the morning. With clouds coming and going the rest of the day. Water temp was 51-53. Water clarity was stained to muddy depending on the spot. The lake came up a little over a foot from all the rain. Tried cranks, rip baits and darterheads with no takers. All our fish came on Brown and Purple jigs and drop shot shad colored worms in 15′-35′ on points. Bite was slow only caught 9 fish all day and nothing big. Congrats to the winners Bill and Jason who had 17.10 with a 7.31 big fish. And my hats off the the rest of the motherlode field that came out and supported the BBT with 73 boats.
