Lake New melones is located 1;20 min south east of Stockton Ca. Melones is smack dab in the middle of the motherlode! This lake has a river arm and a main body. Loaded with Large mouth Bass, Spotted Bass and Red eye bass Melones is a great destination for sure. This lake has tons of trout,salmon and brown trout along with monster catfish! The primary food source here is trout,shad,crawfish and hitch.
