Landon Ford Joins RB Bass – NxGen Team
Everyone welcome RB Bass NxGen’s newest addition! Landon Ford is a local High School fishing stud who fishes for the Vista Del Lago High School Fishing Team. Landon is a great addition to our team as he is not only a high quality angler, but he brings a very special media aspect to our team. Landon has his own YouTube channel “LunkerswithLandon”.
Landon is currently fishing the Anglers Press Future Pro High School Series, Major League Fishing High School Tournaments, and many other tournaments that are put on by other high school fishing clubs.
Landon collegiate goals include studies that focus on Marine Biology, Biology, Business, and Film/Photography. These are all great majors for someone who wants to break in to the fishing industry. Being that Landon has already begun filming and editing videos for his YouTube channel, it is safe to say he is on the right track. We hope to provide Landon with the tools and guidance to help make his dreams come true. Landon’s top college choices are Simpson University, Auburn university, Texas A&M, & Bethel University.

Favorite Fishery:
Landon loves to fish our local reservoirs. However, his favorite body of water is the California Delta. Landon explained that the ever changing conditions of the Delta keep him on his toes. The weather, tide, and changing lifestyle of the aquatic vegetation provide him a constant challenge. The Delta also has the possibility of giant fish or a big limit of bass on any given day.
Favorite Technique:
Landon loves to fish jigs. He loves jigs because there are so many different types and they are very versatile. A jig can be a key player on any given body of water on any given day. He loves ”high impact” hand to hand combat style of fishing where techniques like the jig or flipping and punching are big players. As much as he loves jigs and flipping throwing big swimbaits holds a place in his heart. Landon loves to throw around big swimbaits like a Huddleston, wake baits, and glide baits.

Jacob Wheeler, Brandon Palaniuk, Dustin Connell, Mark Daniels Jr, Oliver Ngy, Austin Wilson, Josh Parris, and Mike Gilbert.

- Currently top 5 in MLF High School in his region

Fishing Goals:
-Qualify for MLF High School National Championship
– Fish at a professional level
– Use his platforms to promote the sport of fishing to future generations of anglers.
