The last qualifying tournament for the Wappapello Bass Circuit Classic was held 8-19-23 out of Sundowner Marina.
The Angler’s were once again treated to adverse conditions with the lake being over 7 feet high and many parts muddied up.
As the teams came to the weigh in, it was apparent that the conditions made for a tough day but as usual a handful teams found fish. One of the teams that found them dropping over 19 pound of fish on the scale was Warren Manion and Billy DeBlois. These guys have been the hottest team on the lake all season, both talented Angler’s they’ve put in the time and it has payed off this year. Warren claims to have a lucky shirt but we all know that him and Billy are just flat good Angler’s. Congratulations Warren and Billy….
Coming in second with an impressive 17.25 pounds of Wappapello Bass was the team of Tucker and Sheets. Great Job Guys..
Finishing third was the team that’s been on Warren and Billy’s tail all year. Shawn Hardy and Jerry Powell weighed in 15.97 to claim another Top Finish
These guys have caught them consistently all year in varying conditions. Great Job guys
