This past Sunday April 28th on Folsom Lake was the annual C.A.S.T for kids event on Folsom Lake. C.A.S.T for kids is a Non-Profit organization that puts on events designed for children with disabilities, ages 6 – 18, the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. Here is RB Bass Outdoors angler Michael Rogers giving a recap of how the C.A.S.T for kids event was for him along with who he had taken out on the water. Michael talks about some of the memorable experiences that he had with his child who’s name was also Michael and Michael’s dad on the boat that day. Check out the video. This event is so rewarding just to spend a day with these children and share our love and passion of the outdoors with them, some of who have never had an opportunity like this ever. Their smiles and excitement make these events so rewarding.
