RB Bass Outdoors angler Sean Holifield of Demolition Fishing hit the California Delta for a little bit of fishing. Here is how his trip went-
“Fished the California Delta this afternoon and the fish are moving up fast. Fished super low tide and Caught the 16-1/2 off a bed and the Big one was roaming, both in less than 3ft of water. No graph tonight so couldnt give you water temps but this weeks consistent temps should make this weekend prime. Both fish were caught on an Xzone lures 5″ True Center Stick in Green Pumpkin Black Flake on a Kistler Helium Rods Medium spinning rod.”
These warming trends are definitely going to have these fish on the move to shallower water. Perfect time to get out and hit the water and possibly catch the bass of a lifetime. Since the California Delta is a tidal water system it really helps to know which part of the tides are best to fish from a falling tide, to a slack tide, to a rising tide or to high tide. Check out the tide tables online pick a time and hit the water. Good luck out there and tight lines.
