Here is RB Bass Outdoors angler Sean Wayman talking about springtime flipping and pitching. He goes over the gear that he uses for these applications. Everything from hooks and hook size, to baits, to line and line sizes, to the rods and reels he throws these setups on. Sean also talks about the type of structure or cover that he flips and pitches to. Sean also gives a few pointers on how he fishes each application. Sometimes subtle little differences in how you work these baits can get you more and bigger bites. When flipping and pitch you want to pick apart the areas your fishing really well. Paying attention to certain spots that are different from everything else around it are definitely things to pay attention to. Sometimes slower fall rates are better than quicker fall rates with the baits as they enter the water, so pay attention to weight size. Check out this video and see how Sean breaks these applications down.
