Pops and I hit Lake Shasta today water temp was 77.5 wind blowing about 7 mph! beautiful bluebird skies!! We ran up the Pit arm into our favorite topwater cove. Pops was using a Berkeley choppo in a Shad color, I threw a 1/4 ounce buzzbait!! The bite was slow but steady and the ripple on the water was perfect. I caught this solid keeper my second cast but mostly small clones. As the sun came up we moved to the Sac arm and pops used a drop shot with a Robo worm in Aaron’s magic he caught a solid keeper off the first point we hit!! I used a cinnamon purple hula grub but was just catching clones!! All in all great day on Old Lake Shasta Lake!! #rbbassoutdoor #tuglife #spittinimagejigs
