From Trenton:
“Hello everyone my name is Trenton Lacy I’ve grew up in the south east part of Missouri around
lake Wappapello. My dad brought me into the competitive side of fishing and have fell in love
with tournament fishing. Then I started learning more techniques from others, such as fishing off
of graphs and points with my fishing partner. I fish every chance I get even going to the river in
the summer I always remember to bring a pole. I have placed top ten twice and have got third in
the NYFA championship on Pomme De Terre. That’s when I thought about college fishing and
found Auburn as one of my favorite fishing schools along with Ole Miss and Clemson. I am
continuing to fish high school tournaments. I go to school at poplar bluff high school and fish the
NYFA circuit and plan on fishing MLF high school tournaments this year. I also duck hunt in the
winter which is good because it doesn’t get in the way of fishing very much. My strengths in
fishing would have to be throwing a jig or big worm and flipping, but I understand to go finesse
when fishing is tough. I would say I am well rounded on my strengths. I would say my dream is
to fish against the pros on Bass Master or MLF. /instagram: @Trenton_Lacy_Outdoors”
