X Zone Lures review by Ryan Hall

As I get ready for the 2018 BBT Delta – Wine season opener I wanted to clue everyone in on some baits that I really like and have been catching some fish for me as well. I recently came in contact with some product from X-Zone Lures and I immediately liked what I saw. Some of my favorites are the Muscle Back Craw, Adrenaline Bug, MB Finesse Worm, Punisher Punch Craw, and the True Center Stick.

Muscle Back Craw – The Muscle Back Craw is a versatile craw style bait. It comes in 2 sizes, 4″ and 3.25″. The Muscle Back Craw has a slender body with 2 claw appendages that flutter very nicely while falling. The slender body style allows the bait to slide through matted vegetation extremely easily. The Muscle Back Craw also makes a fantastic jig trailer. One advantage of the Muscle Back Craw is that the claws are made with floating plastic. The floating plastic allows the claws on the bait to stand up similar to the defense position of a crawfish.

Adrenaline Bug – The Adrenaline Bug is a 4″ craw style bait that I use for similar applications as the Muscle Back Craw. The Adrenaline Bug also has floating claw appendages that make it extremely unique. The Adrenaline Bug also makes a light flip or Texas rig bait as well. This bait is also quite versatile and comes in a ton of awesome colors.

MB Finesse Fat Worm – The MB Fat Finesse Worm is just that, a finesse worm. The worm is 6″ long and has a slender, easily edible, body shape. Since it has a floating tail I really like it on a shakey head. It comes in a ton of colors and will catch fish wherever you go. I also like using this worm as a dropshot bait as well as on the back of Canopy Grenades dart.

Punisher Punch Craw- The Punisher Punch Craw is a compact life-like craw style bait. It excels when flipping shallow cover. It comes in a compact 3.5″ size. It falls through cover extremely well and is a perfect size snack for a big bass. Another great application for the Punisher Punch Craw is on the back of a jig. The bait fits well on most jigs and even on finesse jigs.

True Center Stick- I think I have found my new favorite stick bait. The True Center Stick comes in 2 sizes, the ever popular 5″ model and a 6″ model. The center stick comes in a variety of fish catching colors and even some very unique ones. I have been using these a ton recently and I have come to appreciate the fact that they are extremely affordable. Only $3.99 for an 8 pack!!! I like to flip this bait in and out of the sparse tules in the delta or pair it up with my Dobyns D-Nail and fish it a little deeper.
